Item #6: Jackson Hole One Week Ski Package

Your home for this amazing ski trip will be a condominium in Spring Creek Ranch, located on a wildlife sanctuary almost 1,000 feet above the town of Jackson, with spectacular views of the entire Teton Mountain Range. The two-story unit sleeps four to six people in two bedrooms upstairs and a queen Murphy bed and pull-out couch downstairs. The condominium has two full baths.

Item #8: Fund a Scholar

Our students and teachers are Potomac’s most valuable assets. Help us continue to recruit and retain the best students and teachers by raising your paddle in support of our Fund a Scholar initiative.

The process is simple: During the Live Auction, you will be invited to make a donation that directly benefits students receiving financial aid and faculty/staff professional development programs. Bidding begins at the $20,000 level, followed by $15,000, $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, $1,500, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, and $50.

By making a 100% tax deductible gift, you will positively impact Potomac students, faculty, and staff. Below are a few examples of how your support can make a difference:

  • $20,000 - Approximately half of a year’s tuition
  • $15,000 - Represents 20% of the financial aid budget that covers all incidental costs for a Potomac School education (i.e., trips, textbooks)
  • $10,000 - Approximately 25% of a year’s tuition
  • $5,000 - Cost of sending a student on to extended day, full time for a year; Approximate cost to the school to purchase books for students receiving financial aid.
  • $2,500 - Cost for all bus drivers to take a defensive driving course; Annual transportation cost for a neighborhood bus route

Item # 9: Fun-Filled Week on Nantucket

The home features five bedrooms, each with an en suite bath, as well as two bunk rooms, each with its own bath and four to six bunk beds, a gourmet kitchen, and elegant dining and living spaces. The property also includes a large lap pool and a large, beautifully landscaped yard. Bikes and two vehicles will be available for the winning bidder’s use.

Item # 10: Rustic Dinner for 20 in Potomac’s Unfinished Center for Athletics and Community Catered by Susan Gage

This unique opportunity will come along just once: the winning bidder will enjoy a rustic dinner for 20 guests catered by local favorite Susan Gage and served in the shell of the new Center for Athletics and Community prior to the building’s opening.

Item # 11: A Lively Night of Bluegrass and BBQ with the Shedkickers and Bootheel Catering

Put on your boots and pull out the banjo — it’s time for an extraordinary evening of Southern cuisine and bluegrass music! 
Enjoy an all-inclusive dinner party for 30 guests prepared by Bootheel Catering while tapping your toes to live bluegrass music performed by the Shedkickers, featuring IS science teacher and Potomac grad Bill Hoffmann and his brother, former sustainability coordinator and Potomac grad Bern Hoffmann! The evening will begin with a veritable feast that includes at least three items from each of the following: starters, salads, sides, main courses, and sweet treats. Possible selections include mouth-watering crab cakes with fresh remoulade, Southern shrimp and grits, and award-winning barbecue! Beer and soft drinks are included, too. While guests dine, the Shedkickers will play two 50-minute sets of amazing bluegrass music.
