Two hundred and twenty (220) tickets are on sale now. Any remaining tickets will be sold during the Silent Auction.
The winning ticket will be drawn at the beginning of the Live Auction. The winner will receive the Live Auction item selected when the ticket was purchased. That item will then be withdrawn from the Live Auction. You do not have to be present to win.
Please note that the purchase of a raffle ticket is not considered to be a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
Taxes may be due for the winner on the difference between the market value and the price of the raffle ticket. The Potomac School will pay any taxes required to be withheld, and the winner will receive a Form W-2G from the school. Any questions on tax matters should be referred to your tax advisor.

The Men’s NCAA Final Four Championship is the culmination of college basketball’s March Madness and one of the most exciting events in all of sports. Item #2 - Eddie V’s Dinner for 10 and Dinner for two at Métier DC
Indulge in a personalized Chef’s Dinner with friends at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood. Your dinner will be personally prepared by the Executive Chef and each course will be paired with a selection from our world-class wine list. Eddie V’s is known for its fine seafood, steaks, wines, and service.
Experience a romantic dinner for two at Métier, a one Michelin star restaurant, from Chef Eric Ziebold. Métier is an intimate restaurant seating only 36 guests. Dinner at Métier revolves around a chef-driven experience, with a creative seven-course tasting menu. Don’t worry about having to park the car – a private car provided by American Sedan will take you to and from your Métier experience.

Item #4 - One week at NASA Space Camp for two campers
One week of Space Camp for your child and a friend! Space Camp is the ultimate educational camp experience, where children work as a team and confront mission scenarios that require dynamic problem solving and critical thinking skills and illuminate real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Throughout the week, camp trainees learn about space hardware and the history and future of space exploration, using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program.
The program lasts for six days and five nights, with a Sunday afternoon arrival and Friday departure. Participants will have the opportunity to
- spend time with and learn from an astronaut who has been on space missions
- train like an astronaut on the 1/6 Gravity Chair, the Five Degrees of Freedom Simulator, and the Multi-Axis Trainer
- learn what it’s like to live onboard the International Space Station (“ISS”)
- launch on simulated missions to the ISS and beyond
- construct and launch their own model rocket
- explore the newest rocket that will carry NASA astronauts to Mars

Our students and teachers are Potomac’s most valuable assets. Help us continue to recruit and retain the best by raising your paddle in support of our Fund a Scholar initiative.
The process is simple: During the Live Auction, you will be invited to make a donation that directly benefits our student scholarship and faculty professional development programs. Bidding begins at the $15,000 level, followed by $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, $1,500, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, and $50.
By making a 100% tax-deductible gift – at any level – you will have a direct positive impact on Potomac students and teachers in every division. If you prefer to support Fund a Scholar at a different time, you may make your donation when you purchase your auction tickets or at check-in/check-out on the evening of March 3.
With your help, we can achieve new levels of support for student scholarships and faculty professional development.

Back by popular demand, this gourmet meal will be prepared in your home and served to your guests along with a customized selection of amazing French and American wines.
The theme of the evening is taken from the landmark tasting in 1976 called the Judgment of Paris, in which French experts agreed that the California wines that they had tasted “blind” were better than the French. The result was a blot to French national pride and shocked the country’s wine industry.
During the evening, you and nine of your friends will reenact the Judgment of Paris. American and French wines will be pitted against each other, and you and your guests can judge which ones are better! The wine-tasting dinner will take place in your home, where you can relax as local favorite Susan Gage Caterers orchestrates the evening, pampering you with the unique five-course tasting menu and excellent service throughout.
