An independent K-12 school on a beautiful wooded campus, 3 miles from Washington, DC

The annual Fall Frolics Carnival is one of Potomac's most anticipated and joyous Potomac traditions! Each October since 1977, Potomac families and friends have come together for festivities, food, and fun. This year, the carnival will run from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

The support of more than 400 volunteers—both before and during Fall Frolics—helps to make this day memorable for children and families alike. There will be games and rides, face painting, hairspray, the Nearly New clothes boutique, and much more. Enjoy a great lunch or snack the day away with food served in the US Circle and Quad. When your sweet tooth calls, stop at the Intermediate School Bake Sale, or take a treat home for dessert!

Once again, the Fall Frolics Committee is asking parents from each grade to staff certain venues during the carnival. Please see the links below for your grade's sign up.Fall Frolics relies on each family to take at least one shift!

Thank you to our amazing Potomac community for taking part in this event supporting our school spirit, scholarships, and teacher development. Below you will find descriptions and instructions for all Fall Frolic volunteer shifts. Please be sure to read your volunteer assignment description prior to your shift so that we have smooth transitions between volunteers. If you have a child who is volunteering, please help them prepare for their shift too. Thanks in advance for your participation!
