Panther Passport

Passport campers have fun-filled adventures off campus every day. Each morning they hop on the bus and head off to explore some of the fascinating sites our area has to offer. With experienced teachers as guides, our campers visit museums, outdoor parks and attractions, performance venues, and much more.

Last year, highlights included berry picking at a farm, an Imagination Stage performance, visits to the Rock Creek Planetarium, the Botanic Gardens, and a trip to Old Town Alexandria for a river boat cruise of the monuments. Our caring and attentive staff ensures that each camper enjoys and fully benefits from these fun and educational experiences. After a picnic lunch, they return to The Potomac School for activities and projects that draw upon the morning’s adventure. On days the field trip schedule permits, pool time is included in afternoon activities.

A schedule of activities and rainy-day substitutions will be sent to families in advance of camp. There is no food service so campers bring a bag lunch each day. A daily snack is provided.

Because Passport schedules for Session 1 and 2 are similar, campers attending two sessions of camp are advised to select another camp for one of their sessions.
