Girls Varsity Win NOVA Tournament Championship!

For the first time since the inception of the tournament, Potomac’s girls varsity soccer team beat Bishop O'Connell 3-2 in a rematch of last year’s title game to emerge as champions of the NOVA Tournament. The team took a 2-0 lead and although O'Connell valiantly battled back, Potomac never relinquished their lead. Read the recent coverage in The Washington Post.

Potomac Honors Two Recipients with Generosity of Spirit Award

Potomac’s Generosity of Spirit Award is given annually at the Thanksgiving Assembly to a faculty or staff member who exemplifies Potomac’s core values, demonstrates “generosity of spirit,” and inspires others through their actions. Two Potomac Students Earn National Merit Scholarships

Seniors Audrey Rentzepis and Max Zeldes were among the winners in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Both have been awarded a $2,500 National Merit Scholarship supported by National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s own funds.
