Girls Lacrosse wins VISAA State Championship

The Panthers won the VISAA Division I championship– the first time in school history! Facing St. Anne’s Belfield in Charlottesville, the Panthers battled back from a late four-goal deficit to win the title, 9-8, in double overtime. Congratulations, Panthers! Also, 32 of our athletes qualified for the VISAA State Track and Field Championships, where the team earned 11 medals—including gold in the girls 4x400m relay, which set a new Potomac School record, and a gold for freshman Sydney Levine in the girls 400m dash. Potomac girls track and field team finished in second place at the VISAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 

And congratulations to our coed golf team, which finished as a runner-up in the Division I VISAA state championships!
