A supportive and structured Learning Environment
Our dedication to a quality program after the school day ends starts with our amazing extended day staff. A fun and enriching program, with ample time for homework, exercise and time with friends is at the core of the program.
Our Extended Day Program
The Potomac School’s Extended Day program is a safe and supervised space for students that allows them to build their own community and engage in different enjoyable activities. The daily activities include snack time, homework study period and recreational time which includes but is not limited to outdoor time (weather permitting), indoor play, board games, working in arts/crafts and many more.
This program is offered on all full school days to Potomac students in kindergarten through grade 8, Monday through Friday from 3:15 to 6:00 pm. Potomac's Extended Day program is exempt from licensing by the Virginia Department of Education.
