Coach Wilson Bio

Thomas Wilson grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, and spent three years wrestling at Episcopal High School. There, he was a two-time Virginia state finalist and one-time state champion, an IAC champion, and a two-time team MVP; he also broke the school record for single-season wins. After high school, Thomas played two years of college lacrosse at Dickinson before transferring to The Ohio State University, where he wrestled for two years. After college, he served as an assistant coach at Episcopal for a number of years before joining Potomac. Now in his fifth year at the school, Thomas has had 10 All State wrestlers (five of whom qualified for the national tournament), eight MAC conference champions, and last year took home the sixth-place team trophy along with the team sportsmanship award from the state tournament. Four of his former wrestlers are currently competing at the college level.
