The Panthers took on a tough Flint Hill team last Tuesday. Potomac had the edge early in the match, leading 3-1, but the remaining matches were all close. Braeden Meikle '20 sensed the tension and turned into sheer strength as he came back from 1-5 down to win 7-6 in the first set tiebreaker. The Panthers still on the court all followed suit. Aneesh Edara '22 and Jack Sterling '20 both prevailed in tight second sets, and the pairing of Akash Gupta '21 and Scott Schertler '20 overcame the Huskies in a third-set tiebreaker. In the end, the Panthers beat the Huskies 6-1.
