Varsity Girls Soccer Scores Big
Girls varsity soccer capped off a wonderful week with victories against Jackson-Reed on September 6, and Episcopal HS on September 8. The Panthers defeated Jackson-Reed 5-2 on Gum Tree with Reagan Exley ‘25 leading the way with two goals, while Ryan Wilson ‘23, Megan Rowe ‘24, and Ally Griswold ‘26 each added one.
Against Episcopal, playing down a player and facing a 2-1 halftime deficit, the Panthers finished the second half with a flurry to pull off a captivating 3-2 victory. Wilson found the net off a great run from Sienna Staver ‘23, and later Margit Crittenberger ‘25 headed in a corner kick from Julia Saba ‘26. It was a thrilling finish and hard-earned victory. The win improved the team record to 2-0-1.
