Enjoy lunch with classmates, faculty, and students. Head of School John Kowalik and president of the Alumni Governing Council, Reed Landry '99 will welcome our Reunion attendees.

May Day Celebration
Upper School Quad
Please rise for the processional and join Potomac’s May Day celebration! The dances and songs draw from more than 800 years of traditional music. Performances include an array of talent—handbell ringers, string players, jugglers, tumblers, a button accordionist, and faculty members doing the Morris dance. Reserved seating for alumni in the front rows!
6:00 - 7:00 pm Gold and Silver Celebration*
Pingree Garden, Intermediate School
A very special celebration is planned for all Golden Alumni, Silver Alumni, and their guests. Head of School John Kowalik will host the Classes of 1970 and 1995, plus every class that has surpassed the 50-year reunion milestone, as well as past faculty.

All Alumni Cocktail Reception*
Intermediate School Commons

Enjoy a spectacular evening reconnecting with fellow alumni and past and current faculty. Reminisce and catch up on all the news! Food and drinks will be plentiful.

Potomac will provide a yellow school bus to take revelers from the Friday night All-Alumni Cocktail Reception to 14th and U Streets, for easy access to the Metro or Hawthorne's. (small fee)

Enjoy a tour of the building, walk the indoor track, play squash, shoot some hoops, or work out in the fitness center and strength and conditioning room. All are welcome.

10:30 - 11:30 am A Grounding & Energizing Experience
Multipurpose Studio, Spangler Center

Join Dr. Blair Farr ’96 as she leads a yoga and mindful meditation class. Everyone is welcome, whatever your experience level. (For ages 12 and up.)
10:30 - 11:30 am Take a Trail Walk
Gather in  the Spangler Center Lobby
Enjoy the trails with Environmental Sustainability Coordinator Albert Pingree ’00 and faculty member Mary Cahill.
12:15 - 1:30 pm Reunion Lunch
Spangler Center

Celebrate with Head of School John Kowalik at the Reunion Lunch. The Alumni Governing Council Award, presented to the Reunion class achieving the highest participation in the Potomac Fund, and The Class of 1991 Award, which celebrates the class achieving the highest level of philanthropic leadership by Reunion weekend, will be presented at lunch.

Logistics
  • *Child care available for a small fee. Friday evening, 6:00–9:00 pm, Saturday, 9:30 am–1:45 pm.
  • Bookstore open all day Friday.
  • Parking: In consideration of our neighbors, all parents, students, staff, visiting teams, and guests of The Potomac School are requested not to park on surrounding residential streets. Ample parking is available on the school grounds.
