"Each of my teaching experiences has shaped me as a professional and I love sharing with and learning from the entire Potomac School community."
For me, the most rewarding aspect of teaching is helping a student to find success. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help students develop, grow, and become lifelong learners both in and out of the classroom.
After graduating from Trinity College with a bachelor's degree in English, I jumped into my first teaching role at Rye Country Day School (where I went to school for 14 years). While at Rye, I got my master's degree from NYU in early childhood education and early childhood special education. Following my time at Rye, I worked at Christ Church Day School in NYC and then made my move to Washington, DC, where I worked at DC Prep, a public-charter school, and then made my way to The Potomac School! Each of my teaching experiences has shaped me as a professional and I love sharing with and learning from the entire Potomac School community.
When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband and our rescue lab, Ginger, as well as our families and friends who are scattered throughout the country. I also love to travel, ski, cook, and read.
