Leadership Bios

Heather brings to Potomac nearly 30 years of experience in advancement, marketing, communications, and business development in education, government, and corporations. Prior to joining Potomac, she led the advancement and communications office at the Montessori School of McLean where she oversaw development, marketing, communications, community events, and constituent relations. Heather previously worked in government relations, business development, and legislative affairs for the White House, the United States Senate, the United States House of Representatives, El Paso Energy Corporation, and Johnson Controls. Heather earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from The Catholic University of America and her master’s in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in marketing and management.
