I FOUND THE INTERVIEWS AT THE END TO BE THE MOST REWARDING PART. IT ALLOWED ME TO BETTER PRESENT MYSELF IN A QUIETER ENVIRONMENT AND TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE SCHOOLS THAT I SPOKE WITH.
Candidate, Prior Hiring Fair Attendee
The hiring fair will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
This event supports pathways to employment in the independent school sector and encourages community members from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives to attend.
Come join us and meet with more than 30 independent schools and over 100 candidates in the DMV area. Registration is free for all candidates.
New this year, The Potomac School, will host a virtual resume writing session for hiring fair participants. This is a great opportunity for individuals transitioning to schools from other sectors to get tips on content for school related cover letters and resumes. This session will be held via Zoom, on January 10, 2026 at 1pm EST. Please select to attend when registering for the fair to allow us to gauge interest in this program.
