As both the founder of East Ed and a member of the Black Panther Party, Randolph has devoted his career to promoting equity and diversity in education and communities. He is currently a founding member of ALMA Partners. Randolph was a Fellow in the Harvard University School Leadership Program, Graduate School of Education, where he received a master’s degree in education with a school leadership qualification. He is currently a doctoral student in the School of Education Leadership and Change at Fielding University. He was a middle school reading specialist, a school administrator, and while at the National Association of Independent Schools, he directed their equity programming and founded two of their signature projects: People of Color Conference and Student Diversity Leadership Conference. Randolph has also served on numerous school boards, including Fielding Graduate University and the Institute for Community Enrichment. He is a member of the Education Committee of the New Press. His publications include peer-reviewed articles and book reviews published in national journals.

Amy M. McNamer is the Executive Director at AISGW. Early in her career, she taught at the Casablanca American School, Morocco, and she has practiced law for twenty years in a variety of contexts in the private and public sectors. She worked as an attorney with law firms in San Francisco and Washington before joining the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in 2004, where she was a Senior Attorney in the Enforcement Division for over ten years.

Amy has also provided strategic consulting to several area non-profits as a volunteer for Compass Pro Bono, assisting non-profit boards with governance issues and strategic alignment matters. She and her husband, Jim Neill, have three children, all of whom attend or have attended local independent schools. Born and raised in Montana, Amy holds her BA in European History from Harvard and earned her JD at Georgetown.

James has more than 26 years’ experience in independent schools and institutions of higher learning. He currently serves as the Director of Community Engagement at The Potomac School. Previously, he has served in various roles in different institutions, such as the Director of College Counseling, Dean of Student Life and College Counseling, and Director of Multicultural Retention.

Additionally, James is the co-founder of Hightower Scholars, Inc., a nonprofit that works to promote access to higher education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in African and African American Studies from Penn State.

Ross is a results driven financial and operations executive with a distinguished 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, culminating in three tenures as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) across the Department of Defense (DoD). He is renowned for a steadfast commitment to fiscal excellence, compliance, and risk management and has a demonstrated track record of building cross-functional teams, leading complex organizations, and effectively managing resources.

He earned a BA in economics and business from the Virginia Military Institute, where he captained the division I men's soccer team. He also holds advanced degrees in military operational art, science, and strategic leadership from USAF Air Command and Staff College and in management from Liberty University.

After teaching for 8 years in Massachusetts and for 3 years overseas, Julie Wong came to Potomac in 2013 as an Upper School Mathematics teacher.

Over 23 years, she has taught the gamut of high school math classes, from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus AB, including IB Math SL. At Potomac she has also served as the Grade 11 Dean for the past 7 years and enjoys the opportunity this role affords her in being able to support students and colleagues. Julie is active in the school's DEI work, and she oversees several student groups pursuing greater inclusion, belonging, and equity.

She earned her BS from Boston University and her M.Ed. from Framingham State College, both in the field of Secondary Mathematics Education.

Reese joined The Potomac School in 2022 as a teaching fellow, serving in admission, communications, and the Intermediate School. Following his two-year fellowship program, he transitioned into a cross-functional role that blends responsibilities in the admission office with teaching and advising in the Intermediate School.

Outside of the classroom, Reese coaches volleyball, basketball, and baseball. He is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, where he studied communications and economics.
