The popular Nearly New clothing sale, a part of The Potomac School for over 13 years, returns with fabulous finds for the bargain hunter in all of us. If you would like to donate clothing items, please drop them off at the Development office or at any of the five collections points at your convenience.

Nearly New Designed Boutique

This year Nearly New is introducing a designer boutique located in the Potomac Bazaar. This Boutique will feature gently used designer accessories.

Potomac Bazaar

Visit Us Friday, October 19th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday, October 20th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Bazaar is located in the Lower School Dining Room.

One of the favorite traditions at Fall Frolics is the Potomac Bazaar. New for this year, the Bazaar will feature an expanded Gardening Shop. Spring isn't the only time to tend your garden, and the Bazaar makes it easy to add your fall color. No need to visit the local nursery, we will have flats of pansies, colorful 8" mums and a bounty of pumpkins for Halloween carving or fall decor. In addition, there will be an exciting selection of garden and planting accessories. We'll even offer pots brimming with a blast of fall color--perfect for any front porch. While parents shop, children can create at the Paint Your Own Pumpkin tables!

To purchase a large number of flats of flowers, please contact Tammie Collins at john.p.collins@verizon.net so that we can guarantee your quantity.

Gardening isn't the only reason to visit the Potomac Bazaar. Show your Panther Pride by shopping at the "Spirit of Potomac" venue featuring Potomac charms, note pad and pencil sets, and other new to the school logo items. Sure to be a hit are the "Spirit bands". Your child can select a size and color of wristband and fill each hole with their choice of paw print croc charms (jibbitz)--there's even a panther head! Perfect for everyone K through 12.

Potomac Bazaar has also brought back all of the favorites: Crazy Ties, The International Market, Games, Toys and Sporting Goods. Though Nearly New will remain in Dimick, upscale accessories at the "Nearly New Designer Boutique" will be available for purchase at Potomac Bazaar.

Always popular, the Silent Auction of wonderful themed gift baskets assembled by parents will be expanded this year. Kitchen Theme to Children's Gardening; Create a Butterfly Garden to Arts and Crafts, the varied assortment of beautifully styled baskets will have something for everyone.

Donations needed for the New Fall Frolics Potomac Bazaar, and Donation Week is October 9 through 12!

Though this year we are no longer taking donations of indoor furniture and large home décor or art, there are many ways you can donate and support the Potomac Bazaar. For a list of donation ideas click here. For the donation week schedule and collection points please click here.
