Campaign Reaches $42 Million
Thanks to the outstanding work of our volunteers, staff and, of course, the unstinting generosity of our donors, we’ve raised $42 million for The Campaign for Potomac’s Future, 85% of our $50 million goal – a tremendous achievement. We know that for many of you, giving your time and resources to both the Annual Fund and Capital Campaign is a stretch, and we are indeed grateful for your commitment to our School.
We look forward to working with you in the coming months. Your continued support and full participation is critical to raise the remaining $8 million, so that we can continue to lead the way in building a national model for excellence in K-12 education.
A New Lower School
Our new Lower School will be a place of joyful learning, preserving our beloved traditions and offering new resources and opportunities for students and faculty. Groundbreaking is planned for Spring 2008.
A More Robust Endowment
Potomac’s Endowment is a critical funding pool for our students and faculty. Building a more robust Endowment will relieve tuition pressure, ensure student diversity, and allow us to continue to hire and retain the best K-12 educators in the country.
A New Administration Building
We plan to construct a new Administration building to house the Lower and Middle School Dining Room, new Admission office, and a welcoming entrance to the school.
