Potomac Baseball Camp

The Potomac Baseball Camp is designed with the individual player in mind. Skills, drills, and fundamentals will be stressed and learning will be our top priority. We will provide an environment where players of all ages and abilities will be able to increase their knowledge and enjoyment of the sport. Daily afternoon games will help reinforce the skills introduced in the mornings and connect these skills to the game of baseball. In addition, we will incorporate core concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, mental toughness, and leadership throughout the week.

Our daily schedule consists of morning warm-ups followed by skill stations in throwing/catching, hitting, fielding, base running, and pitching. After a mid-day break in our air conditioned lunchroom, it's back outside to the fields for games every afternoon, culminating in our 'World Series' on the final day.

Potomac Baseball Camp is directed by Glenn Adamec, physical education teacher in Potomac's Lower and Middle schools since 1997. Glenn is also the Intermediate School Head Baseball Coach, and was Potomac's Head Varsity Baseball Coach from 1997-2007.
