Students
Classmates. Teammates. Study buddies. Playground chums. Student government reps. Lab partners. Homework pairs. Cast members. Choir singers. Band members. Team captains. Friends for life.
Our unique K-12 campus bustles with the school life experiences that span the full range of ages and interests—and student relationships.
Some of us journey from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Most of us join along the way. We all remain connected to Potomac for a lifetime.
If you stop by to visit us you might see:
- Spirited five-year-olds swinging or tossing balls on the Lower School playground or fishing creatures from the streams or pond.
- Eighth graders meeting in small groups with their advisors.
- Middle Schoolers serenading all as they cruise through the hallways singing or playing their recorders.
- Older students talking with friends and teachers in the Crossroads, the three-story gathering place in the new Upper School.
- The rapt faces of Lower School children gathered to hear a story or quietly solving a math problem.
- A flurry of students in the Middle School Square making sandwiches for Martha’s Table.
- Baseball, lacrosse, soccer, football, tennis – action on every field, with friends and parents cheering.
We encourage you to come to Potomac and see for yourself. For a preview of who we are and what we do each day, please visit our scrapbook.
