Welcome Back Potomac Alumni to Reunion 2008
Classes ending in 2, 3, 7 and 8 will gather on April 25-26, 2008
Please join the faculty, staff, students and friends for a weekend of traditional and special activities.
We welcome all alumni to Reunion and all events listed in the program. Some events require preregistration.
FRIDAY, APRIL 25
11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Celebration Lunch for 50th Reunion Classes (Classes of 1957 & 1958) (Residence, Head of School, Geoffrey Jones)
12:00 - 3:00 pm: Registration and refreshments (Upper School Crossroads)
1:00 – 2:30 pm: May Day – Relive old memories (Upper School Amphitheater, rain location: Chester Gym)
5:00 - 7:00 pm: Barbeque - Alumni Governing Council, current and past faculty, local alumni and their families welcome and celebrate the Reunion Classes (Upper School Amphitheater. Live music, rain location: Upper School Leonsis Dining Commons)
SATURDAY, APRIL 26
9:00 - 10:00 am: Continental Breakfast to Celebrate the 50th Year Reunion Classes - all alumni are invited (Residence, Head of School, Geoffrey Jones)
10:00 am – 2:00 pm: Registration (Upper School Crossroads)
10:30 – 11:30 am: Nature Trail Tour.
Highlights of Potomac’s 90 acres guided by Greg Mueller, Middle School Science Teacher – gather at EAST entrance of Upper School
10:30 – 11:30 am: Alumni Class. Red Rose School in Kenya service initiative discussed by Ken Okoth, Upper School History Teacher. Added commentary by students and alumni Merrell Redway Cherouny ’82 and Michelle O’Hara Levin ’93 – US 327
11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Campus Tour, Charlotte Nelsen, Director of Admission (Upper School Crossroads)
11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Conversation with Head of School, Geoffrey Jones (Upper School Library)
12:30 – 1:30 pm: Reunion Lunch (Upper School Leonsis Dining Commons). Jerry Rich, Music Teacher, leads Potomac School sing-along

7:00 pm: Class Dinners – Off campus Reunion Dinners organized by Class Representatives
