Steven John’s '01 Debut Novel: Three A.M.
"I didn't sit down intending to write a novel," says Steven. "It started as a short story, but suddenly it had grown to more than 15,000 words, and I realized I was writing something bigger ... I wrote during lunch breaks and would edit at night while my wife was asleep - it was basically a side project that took on a life of its own, then took me with it."
