Until recently, we had been hoping that you and your classmates would be joining us on campus this weekend to celebrate your milestone. Although circumstances prevent us from being together for Reunion 2020, we are thinking of you! To help you celebrate wherever you are, we are sharing videos with some great photos of your class. Click on your class picture below to view your video.

And we haven't forgotten the power of tradition! Celebrate May Day on Friday, May 1 virtually, along with the entire Potomac community. May Day has been a Potomac tradition since the school's earliest days. Former Headmistress Carol Preston nurtured the event over the years, and when beloved music teacher Jack Langstaff came on the scene, he incorporated new elements like the Morris Dance and a wealth of traditional folk music. Originally a Lower and Middle School tradition, May Day has evolved to include all four Potomac divisions. In recent years, music teacher Russell Nadel has made his mark on the celebration, which continues to have tremendous meaning for our school community.

This year our students have put together a wonderful show with some of your favorite May Day songs. We have included a link to the lyrics so you can sing along to: Padstow Mayer's Song ("Unite and Unite"), Hal'-an'-Tow, Hi! Ho! The Rattlin' Bog and Wild Mountain Thyme.
