Potomac School Book Fair
Dating back to the 1960’s The Potomac School Book Fair is one of our oldest and most treasured traditions. This year we return to an in-person sale of gently used books donated by and for our community. Proceeds from the book fair fund the purchase of new materials for the school libraries. Share your love of reading by participating in one or more of the following ways:

The Book Fair needs you! Sorting and selling are great opportunities to meet other parents and reminisce about your favorite titles. Please contact the Book Fair chairs to get involved.

Donate Your Used Books
There are several ways and days you can bring books to campus
- Conference days – drop books in boxes at the entrances to each division
- Saturday, 11/5/2022 – drive onto campus between 9am – 1pm and donate books at the flag circle building
- 11/7/2022-11/11/2022 – you may drop off books at morning carpool or have your child bring books to school
Families may donate as many children’s and YA books as they wish
- We ask that families donate no more than 10 adult fiction books per student (we will not accept adult non-fiction books (such as textbooks, cookbooks, gardening, etc. so please consider donating to these organizations.)
Buy at the Book Fair
- The Book Fair will run from November 14 - 17, 2022 with Lower School and Middle School classes shopping with their homerooms at assigned times and IS/US kids shopping during lunch blocks or scheduled breaks
- You will receive additional information about your homeroom’s assigned shopping date and time through your teacher
- Students are usually limited to purchasing up to 10 books at $1/per book
- Parents may purchase books during volunteer shifts and on Bag Day, Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 8:00 am to noon.
Purchase New Books for Potomac’s Libraries
Help support our school libraries by purchasing new books that will go directly to each of our three libraries (LS, MS/IS and US). Parents can include a dedication along with their donation if they choose by using the message section in Amazon. Click on the links below to donate and select the library address at checkout:
