Ebrary Ebrary is a collection of 35,000 E-Book titles in every subject area. Ebrary offers an online tutorial for assistance. Or, please see the librarians for help.

NOTE: For access off campus, Ebrary has provided each student with a user name and ID. Contact the librarians if you do not have yours.

Access Science Provides a collection of reference materials through the The McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science. It offers illustrations, headline news, biographies, and more.
American National Biography One of the best resources for researching the lives of Americans, famous or otherwise. This database can be searched either by name or within the “special collections” archive. Includes illustrations and additional online resources.
CQ Researcher This full text database offers in-depth, non-biased coverage of political and social issues, with regular reports on topics in health, international affairs, education, the environment, technology and the U.S. economy.
Opinion Archives Opinion archives provides editorials and commentary on a range of topics. Magazines include: Harpers, the Nation, the New Republic, Scientific American, and the National Review, among others.
Britannica’s Online Reference Annals of American History
Encyclopedia Britannica Complete encyclopedia, with related Internet sites and index guides.
Grove Dictionary of Art This is a resource for all aspects of the visual arts from prehistory to the present. Grove also includes an excellent image database.
JSTOR An archive of peer-reviewed, academic articles from over 300 scholarly journals.
Oxford English Dictionary The OED is the accepted authority on the evolution of the English language over the last millennium. It provides the meaning, history, usage and pronunciation of over half a million words.
