Newbery Medal Announced
Read MoreThe 2013 recipient of the Newbery Medal is The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate. Honor books include Splendors and Glooms by Laura Amy Schlitz and Bomb: the Race to Build- and Steal the World's Most Dangerous Weapon by Steve Sheinkin. We have been fortunate enough to have both of these authors visit us at the Potomac School in the recent past.

We have a new note-taking system available to students. Noodle Tools allows students to keep track of the research process in one logical place. Some other advantages are the work is stored on the cloud and teacher's can monitor the whole research process. Students should click here to sign on to Noodle Tools.
