Extended Day

The Extended Day Program provides a safe and enjoyable environment for students beyond the hours of the normal school day. Games, computers, physical activities and outdoor play fill the extended day afternoon. A quiet time for rest and/or homework is a part of each day. The Extended Day Program is available to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8, 3:15– 6:00 pm. Families who have signed up for bus service can use the late bus at 5:45 pm.

Hours

The Extended Day Program is available only on days school is in session and runs from 3:15 - 6:00 pm. Note:  On scheduled early closing days, there are no Extended Day sessions. In weather emergencies, children must be picked up immediately.

Music and Tutoring

Music lessons and tutoring can be arranged for an extra fee. For more information, please contact the Music Office at (703) 749-6392 or your Division Head for assistance with tutoring.
