Mrs. Polly Nagell
"It is such a privilege teaching at Potomac and being surrounded by children and faculty who are happy to spend their days here. I love the sparkle in a student's eye when they are proud of their work, figure out how to solve a problem, or make new friends."
I have two children who graduated from Potmac and a third who is a student in the Upper School. After graduating from Davidson College, I taught school in Kenya and then returned to the University of Virginia, where I earned my master’s degree in teaching. I have taught K through 5 learning-disabled students and low-income preschoolers in the Loudoun County public schools. I enjoy reading, running and being outdoors.
